To bring your vehicle from Nepal to India, obtaining a vehicle permit is mandatory. This permit can be acquired from either the embassy or consulate office of India. In our case, we obtained it from the Embassy of India, located in Lazimpat, Kathmandu.
While some may suggest using agents for this process, we opted to handle it ourselves, and I highly recommend doing the same. The procedure is relatively straightforward.
