Facing challenges in finding a suitable charging point, we decided to follow the suggestion of the petrol station attendant and stopped at a nearby hotel, hoping to use our slow travel charger. However, the hotel staff, unfamiliar with the concept of EV charging, denied us access to their sockets, explaining that their electrician wouldn't be available until the morning.

Despite several attempts to convince them, the late-night hour and their unfamiliarity with EV charging led to a refusal. We explored other nearby petrol stations and dhabas, but either they lacked the required 16 AMP socket or were unfamiliar with electric vehicle charging, especially considering the late hour (around 3 o'clock in the morning).

Ultimately, we chose to spend a few hours in the car, and took a nap, which was surprisingly comfortable in BYD ATTO 3. The next morning, our plan was to either revisit the EV charging station, hoping it had resumed working or locate a regular household electric socket where we could use a slow charger.
