Attempting to get a SIM card from a vendor, we encountered difficulties as our application couldn't be verified by the telecom provider, VODAFONE. Since our passports lacked official proof of entry to India, being visa-exempt travelers from Nepal, obtaining the SIM card became challenging. Without a working SIM card, navigating charging stations connected to the network through mobile apps became nearly impossible. Although RFID cards were an option, we hadn't come across any charging station attendants who could initiate charging with an RFID card.

The vendor, making diligent efforts, communicated with Vodafone's office to secure us a SIM card, and we spent approximately 3 hours in this process. Meanwhile, to ensure our car was fully charged, I went to the charging station at McDonald's in Domel. Since the outlet lacked WIFI, I approached the manager, Mr. Sandeep, who generously allowed me to use the hotspot to start the charging session. During this time, he even offered me a cup of coffee, and we engaged in a conversation about EVs, a relatively new concept in this part of the country. Mr. Sandeep expressed excitement upon learning about our EV journey from Nepal. We express our gratitude to Mr. Sandeep and the helpful SIM card vendor at Domel for their assistance
